Townswomen’s Guild news

By GEM Community Correspondent in Local People

THE Porthcawl Townswomen’s Guild have been enjoying indoor activities in the cold weather. The games, craft and literary groups have all been busy and the lunch this month at Beale’s is always popular.

The lunchtime drama at the Pavilion was enjoyed by all and the group is looking forward to the next one in March.

The coffee morning at the RAAFA Club was a happy occasion, with members and friends enjoying a chance for a good chat.

At the February meeting, Mrs Alison Westwood was welcomed when she demonstrated ‘Eclipse Gift Wrapping’. She made it look easy, and the ladies all learned something and admired her finished parcels.

Next month’s meeting is the AGM on March 8 at 2pm in All Saints Church Hall; all welcome.
